kwalaland is the collective work of kwasi adjavon.
Born and raised in Malmö, Sweden and subsequently living across the UK, Kwasi's professional background lies in the architectural industry, but on a dreary Sunday you will find him scribbling away on his drawing board.
The work is heavily inspired by the idioms, pessimism, optimism and humour found in both cultures. Creating literal depictions of the figurative as a way to digest, process and regurgitate the chaos of our world.
